This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on zeratheonfoundation.com.
It is short, because we keep this simple on purpose.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember
something between page loads — for example that you are signed in, or that you submitted a
form.
2. What this website sets
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work. They cannot be switched off without breaking something.
- WordPress session cookies — set only if you sign in to the administration
area. They keep you logged in. Visitors who are not signed in do not receive them. - Form and security cookies — set when you submit the contact form, to
protect against cross-site request forgery and to remember that your message was sent. - Cookie preference — if you accept or decline this notice, we store that
choice so we do not ask again.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not use any. This website has no Google Analytics, no advertising
pixels, and no third-party marketing trackers. We do not follow you across other websites.
Third-party content
If we embed a video (for example from YouTube or Vimeo) on a page, that provider may set its
own cookies when you press play. Those are governed by the provider’s own policy, not ours. We
will only embed videos we need for tutorials.
3. Fonts
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to
Google’s servers when a page loads, and Google may see your IP address as a result. We do not
send Google any information about you beyond that request.
4. What we do with the information
Strictly necessary cookies are used only to operate the website. We do not use them to
build a profile of you, and we do not sell anything derived from them. See our
Privacy Policy for the wider picture.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Every major browser
lets you see what is stored, remove it, and block it for specific sites or entirely. Blocking
strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site from working — particularly the contact
form and the administration area.
To learn how, look for “cookies” in your browser’s help or settings menu.
6. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date.
