Ordis is not one person's work. It stands on the model that thinks, the character that gave it a voice, and hundreds of open-source packages written by strangers who gave their work away for free.

The brain

The model that thinks

DeepSeek

Ordis does not contain a language model. It reasons by sending your request to DeepSeek's API, which returns the thinking that Ordis then acts on. Without their work there would be no product.

This is why the Privacy Policy says your prompt text leaves your machine — it has to, to be answered.

The voice

Where the voice came from

Ordis — Warframe

The name and the voice of this assistant are a tribute to Ordis, the Cephalon from Warframe — a character that many players, including the founder, grew fond of. Ordis's voice is a clone of that performance.

Warframe and Ordis are the property of Digital Extremes. We claim no ownership of them. This page credits them; it does not imply their endorsement, sponsorship, or approval of this product.

The foundation

Built on open source

Every package below is written and maintained by other people, and most are given away under licences that only ask to be credited. This is that credit.

139 packages, with the exact versions pinned in this build.

A note on licences

These packages are used under their own licences — mostly MIT, BSD and Apache 2.0. Those licences require their copyright notices to be preserved, which is one of the reasons this page exists. The full licence text for each project is available from that project's own repository.

If you maintain one of these projects and would like your entry corrected, or removed, email us and we will act on it.

Ordis itself is proprietary software. Crediting the projects it is built on does not make Ordis open source.

Thank you — all of you

To the maintainers who wrote this foundation, to DeepSeek for the reasoning, and to Digital Extremes for a character worth naming an assistant after.
